Sr. Post Silicon Validation Engineer 2

Position:Post Silicon Validation Engineer 

Experience: 5-8 years 

Location – Bengaluru

Skills Required: 

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for post-silicon validation of ICs.  

  • Design and implement test cases to verify functionality, performance, and reliability of ICs. 

  • Conduct experiments and execute test cases on FPGA and silicon to identify and debug issues. 

  • Analyse and interpret validation data to assess the compliance of ICs with specifications and quality standards. 

  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and software teams to resolve issues and optimize IC performance. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in validation methodologies, processes, and tools. 

  • Document test procedures, results, and findings in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Complex silicon validation experience on emulation and post silicon platforms. In depth knowledge of one or more peripheral protocols and specifications: USB2.0/3.0/4.0, PCIe Gen1/2/3/4, Ethernet, SATA, SD/eMMC, QSPI/OSPI, NAND, SPI, I2C, UART.  

  • Bare metal/Linux driver development, Firmware development experience and excellent C programming skills.  

  • Knowledge of any CPU architecture (preferred ARM architecture). 

  • Platform/Board level debug experience and understanding (added advantage) Hands on experience of handling lab equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers
