Abstract: | Dr. Satya Gupta is a techno-visionary with a wealth of experience & expertise has been part of the worldwide Semiconductor and Electronics industry for more than 40 years. After a 12 year long corporate career at Intel, he has co-founded 4 successful start-ups, Intel Micro-Electronics, Open-Silicon, Concept-2-Silicon and SenZopt in Electronics & Semiconductor Areas. He was the Founding member of India Semiconductor Association (IESA) in 2005 and was IESA Chairman for years 2012-13 and 2020-2021. Most recently, he is Founded EPIC Foundation, a non-profit organization with 2 of HCL Founders Dr. Ajai Chowdhry and Arjun Malhotra with the mission of “Making India an Electronics & Semiconductor Nation” for developing high impact Indian Electronics and semiconductor Products & Brands of National Importance. He is also currently serving as President of VLSI Society of India which is the largest platform dedicated to build Semiconductor Research and Industry-Academia connects in India. He works closely with government of India and several states towards India Semiconductor Mission and closely associated with SemiconIndia, DLI, C2S and DIR-V programs. He is associated with many of the government, academia and industry start-up efforts in Electronics and Semiconductors Crest BITS Pilani, KIIT-Incubator, Electropreneur Park Delhi & Bhubneshwar, iHUB Divyasampark Roorkee, Darbi Foundation. He has been closely associated with many of the government programs and policies targeted for “Making India Electronics & Semiconductor Product Nation.” Significant Highlights

Speaker Biography: | "India is emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets for electronic products powered by semiconductor chips. A majority of the $200 Billion market in India currently is fulfilled by global brands with a large percentage from China. Over the last decade, electronics manufacturing in India has also grown significantly and semiconductor manufacturing is also beginning to take root. Combining a very strong market demand, superior electronic and semiconductor design capabilities, and a fast-growing manufacturing ecosystem, it is India's time to become an Electronics & Semiconductor Products nation. Products are the lifeline of any industry as they drive manufacturing, intellectual property creation, wealth creation, employment creation and long-term sustained development of ecosystem.
