Reach your target ISO26262 ASIL with a unified fault classification flow

Conference: DVCLUB Europe | Automotive Safety and ISO26262
Speaker: Yassine Eben Aimine, Synopsys, Applications Engineer
Abstract:

With automotive systems requiring increasing amounts of compute power and software content, an increase in effort from functional safety requires further automation to reach ISO 26262 certification. In this presentation, we’ll walk through the main requirements of ISO 26262 certification for hardware IP/SoCs, and the process by which they are obtained. We’ll discuss how bringing together best-in-class technologies for FMEA, FMEDA and fault campaign management under a single unified flow can reduce the effort of reaching ASIL certification.

3 Key Points:

  • More automation required
  • Better integration
  • Several engines needed
